Lacy Snowflake Mould – Small

Small Lacy Snowflake mould by Country Cutters Vein Makers. The mould is 2.5″ in size.

Use this 2 sided mould to pattern both sides and allow you to make very fine delicate snowflakes.

Use with flower paste, sugarpaste, modelling paste, marzipan, chocolate paste, cold porcelain or air dry clays.

Roll out a circle of paste quite thin.  Dust both sides of the mould with cornflower and then gently press the disc of paste between both sides.  Use a scalpel or small sharp knife to trim the outer edge.  Dust in a pearlised dust to really enhance the beautiful textures.

Make your snowflake in flowerpaste or a mix of 1/2 sugarpaste and 1/2 flowerpaste.  If you would like to make snowflakes to put on wires or stand up on a cake, make in pastillage and roll a little thicker.
