A lovely bas relief  Cupid Mould which is very quick and easy to use.  Dust with gold dust (or spray with edible gold lustre spray) and use to make a beautiful ornate vintage cake or have him holding little red hearts for a lovely Valentine’s creation!

Note that this is a hard plastic mould and not a silicon mould.

Dust the mould well with cornflower so that the figure easily releases.  Kneed a ball of paste and press gently into the mould, trim away excess paste to leave the back flat if placing directly on a cake or plaque.  When dry, attach using a little edible glue or royal icing.
